I came across this rather interesting video as I am preparing to move back into a bigger home! I have a few of "those boxes" (you'll understand after you watch the video) in my garage--something my husband would love to get rid of. I have boxes of Halloween and Christmas decorations that I never use. I have enough wrapping paper for the next five Christmases. I have two big boxes of VCR tapes--but no VCR player. I have the workbooks from every single seminar I've attended since 1997. And I actually have a box out there labeled "Sentimental Stuff We Have to Keep Forever."
But the video did make me think about all that stuff. I have decided to be ruthless during this move, and move only the things I absolutely need (need being a relative word, of course) and that I truly love. Anything else is just excess stuff I'm tolerating. More isn't always better. Sometimes it's just more.
