The snow has finally melted. Today we could really see the mess there is to clean up in the backyard. Well, more firewood!

We don't usually get much snow in the Seattle area. When we do, it's a mess. We have lots of hills and bridges to deal with. Just a couple of inches of snow can shut down the city.
We just had the worst snowstorm to hit our area in 27 years. First it was very windy (100 mph winds in some areas), then it snowed, then we had some freezing rain, then it snowed on top of that. Trees and branches went down everywhere. We lost at least six trees in our backyard. Over 300,000 homes lost power. As you already know, mine was one of them. No electricity, no internet, no telephone. Half the time, my cell phone wasn't even working. My husband and I both have the same wireless provider. But I would have service one minute and he wouldn't, then he would have service and I wouldn't! Explain how that works! I'm grateful to have everything back up and running and to be back online. Have any of you ever read the book "One Second After," by William R. Forstchen? It's kind of scary! You have all heard me preach about the power of why. It's true for your personal life and it's true for your business. Check out this video by Simon Sinek, author of "Start With Why." A friend of mine shared this article about coaching. It has some great information that I of course wanted to share with you!
