It is so hard to believe that it is already almost Christmas! I hope that your end of 2012 and the festivities that accompany this holiday season will be filled with joy and gratitude.
Thanksgiving, which traditionally marks the beginning of the holidays in the United States, was just last week. From now through the beginning of 2013, holiday parties, shopping, traveling to visit relatives and other seasonal preparations begin to creep into our focus, and oftentimes crowd out other tasks and activities we work on throughout the rest of the year.
As your coach, I want to stress the importance of continuing your efforts toward achieving the goals we have established in your coaching. Studies have repeatedly shown that consistency of coaching and the momentum it helps create is one of the primary factors that contribute to the success of your coaching experience. This is also a great opportunity to remind you of the Rules Of The Game that lay out the expectations of our coaching. Specifically, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy, and a request to cancel or to reschedule a session less than 24 hours prior to our scheduled call will be considered a missed call and will count as one of your contracted sessions.
As all of our calendars get full and tight, it will be especially important to complete our scheduled coaching calls. I ask for your assistance in keeping the day and time of our next call a high priority. Just as we maintain our fitness workouts through this time of year so we keep the physical progress we've gained, the same is true of your coaching. Let's keep progressing on your coaching goals by maintaining a consistent schedule of coaching calls.
If you have not already done so, please give yourself the gift of spending a little time on the Power of Momentum worksheet I sent out. Getting clear on your outcomes for the new year lets you hit the ground running when January begins.
I am excited for the coming year and the positive changes it promises. I am thrilled to be a part of your transformation and honored to serve you as your coach. Let's make the conclusion of 2012 a great springboard for an OUTSTANDING 2013!
Wow, has it been a busy couple of months! We have been working on buying a new home since May. Six weeks ago, we found one we loved and we are almost done moving! There's one more load at the old house (that little stuff just never seems to end!) and then lots more unpacking, organizing, and putting away.
It feels so great to be settled into my own home again. I have been renting for the past three and a half years. And now it's time to get back to work, so I can get a little rest!
