Today, I have to acknowledge my awesome husband, Beau. At the beginning of the year, he got serious on taking care of his health and managing his weight. His blood pressure was too high, his weight was too high, his cholesterol was too high, and his energy was too low! Last year, he had emergency surgery for a carotid artery that was 90% blocked.
In January, he decided to join us in the 90 day challenge. He has lost over 25 pounds and is at his lowest weight since we've been married (which, by the way, is 30 years). His blood pressure and cholesterol are down. He feels great and he's back to swimming several times a week. I'm SO proud of him, and he's pretty damned proud of himself as well. Check out my lifestyle page to learn more. How many of you started with me on our 90 day challenge at the beginning of the year? How are you doing? We are just a little past the halfway mark. Are you on target for reaching your goals? If not, where do you need to adjust in order to make sure you finish strong? It's not too late! Get going!
